Tip for the Month Equipment It is not about owning the most expensive recording equipment, but it is about making the most of the equipment you have.  You want to make sure that you are taking advantage of everything that piece of equipment or pieces of equipment have to offer. For instance, if you are trying to mix a project on recording software or a hard disk recorder, try out the preset templates the product has to offer; to include equalization, reverbs, and mastering effects.
